  1. Yes, definitely is doesn't even starting fully working until a month, and even after a month it still not safe, people who haven't been on the pill for very long LIKE YEARS always get pregnant even when taking it.

  2. It takes 30 days for the birtcontrol to be effective. So thats one full cycle.  Your doctor when he/she prescribed it should have told you this....as well as the pharmicist when he gave you the prescription.  If all else fails you should have read the little pamphlet that comes with the pills.  Yes there is a chance you could be/get pregnant.  Use other protection and keep taking the pill for the rest of this cycle.  If you do not have your period when you are taking the inactive pills call your doctor for an appointment and go from there!

  3. I would be afraid. Just keep taking the pill (it won't harm the baby) and see what happens.

  4. If your b/c requires you to be on it for a month and you forgot to take it for one day and he didn't wear a condom, there is a good chance of getting pregnant. You just have to wait till your next expected period. If it is irregular or you skip it all together, there is a good chance you are so take a test.

  5. If it's within 72 hours of the unprotected s*x, you need to go get the Plan B Pill (emergency contraception).  (If you are already pregnant it won't harm the baby, but it will prevent an egg from coming out, the sperm from entering the egg, and the embryo implanting into the uterine wall.)  You need to do that any time you skip a pill and have s*x or any unprotected s*x.  I'm on the NuvaRing and it is effective after a week.  The pill works differently so it might be a different length of time, I would guess you're okay but I haven't been on the pill in years.  You should really get some EC to be safe.  And when you first start birth control, for the first month it's a good idea to use two forms of BC.

  6. there is still a chance. don't let him *** inside you. wear a condom or have him pull out
