We are going to arrive the first week of september. We are all from California and have never been to South Beach. All of us are in our mid 20's, so we were going to head to the beach during the day and party at night. Now that it is raining in Florida what can we do for fun? (trendy night clubs) if anyone has advice I would really appreciate it..thanks

  1. Don't even let it bother you.  Just like Southern Cal, South Florida gets a normal dose of rain almost daily in the summer and end of summer.

Give it an hour or two and it will dry right up.  Enjoy, plan for all the things you already had in mind...

beaches, diving/snorkeling, waverunners/boating, fishing, golf, nightclubs, science centers, parrot jungle island, everglades airboat tours.  A day at the Hard Rock Fort Lauderdale is always good.

  2. Is going to rain sorry!!! but that shouldn't stop you from having fun, bring some anti-mosquito stuff, prepare to be in a humid enviroment, so bring lots of gel for your hair and try to bring some clothes you r not afraid to wet. The beach is going to look really crappy (murky nasty water) so try to book a hotel with a good pool.

  3. Me and my buddies are going down there that week too for my bachelor party! Sept. 4-7th. Heard about the forecast too.  That sucks.  I hope the rain doesn't come.  Fingers crossed.

  4. Yeah..... there's two hurricanes surrounding us now.. my best bet is Yeah.. it's definitely going to rain but hey maybe it wont? Who knows Weather in miami is very unpredictable. Im not really a club person so I cant really help you on this one.. there's tons of bars/clubs tho in the sobe area and in coconut grove.. you just gotta take your pick
