I discovered a bottle of Caliza Tempranillo Reserva on the shelves at sainsburys, bought it for £10.99 and slaughtered it. Now I want more! I feel like Father Jack...

Am I one step away from being a Binge Drinker or am I one?

Call it cathartic.He deprived you of a normal relationship with a decent red through his alcoholism.Lot of pent up anger there.Now you've got that out of your system you can buy a bottle with impunity,savour it's little 'notes',enjoy it's bouquet,compliment it with a good cheese or simply share it with good company.Enjoy.

On bottle of alcohol in 5 years is hardly a binge drinker or even one step away, but before you go ahead think of the damage you would be doing to your body if you decide to continue on this course.

Ha, ha. I am just about the opposite. I can't remeber the last night that I did not have an alcoholic beverage but for the next few weeks am going cold turkey. Everything is so expensive just now and need to cut back. I will probably have the shakes in the morning!

You must have become t-total for a reason. If you had problems with alcohol then you'll still have problems now.

Alcoholism is a progressive illness. Over any given time (1 year or 20 years) you'll get worse. Never better. Abstinence is the only safe option.

At £10.99 a bottle you'll find binge drinking an expensive past time, lol! I like a glass of wine but usually I only have the one, except at weekends maybe.
