Question:

I've been researching this "abortion pill". Anyone know if the pill is available at all Planned Parenthoods?

  1. ive taken mifepristone and its use is certainly not sketchy. i had to terminate for medical reasons. if you want to know about it email me.

  2. I don't know if it is available at ALL planned parenthoods but it should be noted to the people that keep saying it's at pharmacies...that is the PLAN B pill that prevents pregnancy, where as the abortion pill is something entirely different.  You'd have to contact your local planned parenthood to see if this option would be available.

More about the abortion pill which is usually only available up until the 8-9 week of pregnancy

And the -completely different-, emergency contraception known as Plan B

  3. Not all Planned Parenthoods offer abortion services.  There are facilities that perform medical exams but not abortions, and clothes-on "express centers" that do STD and pregnancy testing, counseling, and birth control prescriptions.

I am not sure whether ALL Planned Parenthoods that offer abortion services offer the abortion pill (Mifepristone/Misoprostol).  But the Planned Parenthood website (referenced below) discusses surgical as well as non-surgical, so I would guess that most, if not all, of their abortion clinics offer both options.

You can find out what services are available at a given PP location by using the "Find a Health Center" search box on the Planned Parenthood home page.

  4. and why would you do that to your own child? THAT IS WRONG!! If I were you and I didn't want the baby, give the baby up for adoption the killing your child..

  5. Yes. And you can get it at most pharmacies.

  6. I doubt that it is available there. The use of it is really sketchy.  I would seriously reccomend the traditional abortion. It only last 5 minutes, it just feels like period cramps, and when it is over you bleed like a normal period. With the pill, you bleed alot more, you have to see what is inside of you come out, and it is painful. Plus the traditional is a little bit cheaper. If you any more questions I would be more than happy to talk to you!!! =)

  7. no only some

  8. if you mean the morning after pill, yes, that is avalible at all; if you mean the pill that really does give you an abortion, than no, its only avalible at the clinics where abortions are preformed. The abortion pill can only be used up till a certin point in pregnancy, like in the first month and  half (not a doc, dont quote me).

  9. I'm completely freakin against it, and I think you're capable of googling it. By it, I mean the morning-after pill... Here:

Walmart, Target, and CVS also carry it.

    :( Sad. Sad. Sad.... Sad.
