I've been selected for the national service. but college's starting in jan. can i be exempted?

if you are a member of the armed services you do what they tell you to do - when they tell you do.

contact vets for peace if you do not support this war - if you do support this war - it is your national duty and comes before anything else.

remember this war is being billed as something to protect our country - i assume that is why you signed up - so suck it in and serve - if you thought you could enlist for a free ride - think again.

sorry you parents were not smart enough or cared enough to look out for your welfare.

Youre SOL, do your service and postpone college. Learn how to focus on something other than yourself and you will learn what it takes to be a human being.
