I've been skimboarding for awhile and I can ride liners with pros and do big airs, I just cant get my shuvits?

ugh same i'm like 14 and a girl and have never been great at airs, but i cant nail like a shuvit on a wave or in the air. I can only do them on the ground or when its way low tide. I also taught myself basically how 2 skim so that may b y but ur not the only one w this problem...hope i helped!!
