  1. You should expect to wait in line outside the courthouse. Then when you get in, you should expect to wait for the judge and lawyers to begin. Then when they arrive, you should expect to wait for them to call each potential juror to ask what your name is and what you do for a living. It's not fun. Unless getting out of work for jury duty is fun.

  2. Wear nice clothing, and make sure you attend, Jury duty is an important civil service and not attending carries stiff penalties.

  3. Business casual is usually the accepted dress. Take something to do (book etc...) because you'll probably spend some time waiting around. If you get selected for a jury pool then you'll go to a court room and then go through the jury selection process. If you are empaneled then you'll sit through a trial. It will depend on the trial as to how long you are there.

  4. dress nice but casual is ok polo shirt and all is ok

Prepare to be bored. Its a lot of hurry and wait bring a book to read or something like that to do.

Dont bring a lot of stuff that you will have to take off our out of your pockets as you will be going through a metal detector a million times.

    Some people find it fun.

I was a sheriff's deputy so I had to testify in court so many times it got annoying. But we had a room we stayed in while we waited with beds and TV, But we needed them I worked 3rd shift from 9:30pm Until 6:00am and I had to be in court all day sometimes. It sucked.

  5. What to wear?  Casual business attire.

What to expect? - Lots of waiting and sitting around.
