I've heard your case of acne can come back in an antibiotically resistant form if you stop before your prescription is over - however i wasnt prescribed a course as acne isnt curable i was just prescribed the drug to take for as long as i see fit (until my ace naturaly goes).

The doctor paired the erythromycin with a topical cream and told me erythromyci will take about a month or two to work and see a change from. My acne has cleared since the prescription of the 2 things so therefore it must have been the topical cream to have done it? Therefore im seriously concidering stopping the erythromycin as im scared about the side effects anywayand i dont need it.

Am i mistaken? Did the erythromyci help also i the past 2 days? If i stop now (as early as now) the acne-coming-back-in-a-resistant-strain surely doesnt apply? Does it?
