I've been thinking about becomeing a radiologist but how many years of school would it take?

Right now im 14 and im wondering starting after highschool how many years

My mom just said if you want to read and do x rays you have to get something called an associates degree (2 years) and then go to a radiologist tech class for 2 years. But if you want to be a doctor you have to go to medical school for something like 13 years. So if you get out of high school when you are 18, you will be a regular radiologist by the time you are 22!  

Edit: wait a second: my mom just said if you want to be a radiologist tech then you have to go to school for 4 years, but if you want to be an actual radiologist, it is 10 or 12 years, so you would be 28. Sorry about that error.
