I've been told that I am a member of a swingers group but I didn't sign up?

I want to know, if this is true, although I have found no evidence to that fact. How do I remove myself from the swingers group? I have done a search for my email address in yahoo groups but nothing surprising showed up. I don't understand who I could be a member, and not receive some alerts or anything. Is it possible for someone else to sign you up for a group? If so, again, how can I remove my email address from that group?

usually at the bottom of e-mails it'll say remove my address from the mailing list to stop all future e-mails...so check that out..

It's possible that the group owner Added you to the group without your permission.  That is against Yahoo Groups guidelines and you could report that person for doing it.

Complete each question.  

On #7, Use the drop-down arrow and select "Other".  In #8, State that you were added to that group without your permission.  

Scroll down to bottom and click on Send.

If you do not wish to report it,  look at the bottom of one of that group's emails and you will see "Unsubscribe".  Click on it and follow prompts.  It will take a little while for the unsubscribe to take effect so be patient.

How can you remove your name from a group that you are not even sure if you belong to? Wait until you get an email about some new "matches" that want to swing and go from there.

Unless you are receiving emails from this group I wouldn't worry about it. If you are, go to their site or reply to the email requesting your name and email address be removed.  Swingers groups are very discrete, so I'd be surprised if you really were.  And if someone did sign you up as a prank the email address would have to be confirmed before your profile would become active.  So unless you have hard proof you are, someone is pulling your leg.
