I've been told that i'm too skinny..?

If I had a dollar for how many times someone has told me Im too skinny..

Id be rolling in dough

(haha cheesy)

So, i'm going to ask

Am I too skinny?

I'm 17

about 5'6

Annd weigh MAYBE 110

I would check, but my scale is broke (go figure lol)

  1. no! your really pretty and your figure is nice, your petite and you don't look unhealthy at all!

    i weigh 119 and am 5'8 but i'm just naturally like that and i get told i'm skinny all the time mostly by adults, but i like my figure and i look healthy and my friends/guys like it too, so i'm happy with it=]


  2. If that's how you are naturally, then don't worry about it!  As the years creep on you'll gain weight naturally, and then, believe me, you won't want it!  =)

  3. I've heard that a lot from people too and I must say I know how you feel! LOLz As for the skinny part, you should really check your BMI because sometimes a person might look skinny but actually is considered healthy. Check this website: http://www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/ and calculate your BMI to see if you're underweight, normal or overweight.

  4. no your definitely not too skinny I think your fine but if your really concerned then working out could work

    You could try:

    -Squats about maybe 100 a day (50 in the morning/afternoon and 50 at night)

    -Moving your legs sideways about 50 degrees sideways maybe 100 on each leg (50 on each leg in the morning/afternoon, 50 on e. leg at night)

    But I do know how you feel people say I'm skinny ALL the time, its really annoying

  6. I dont think your too skinny dont listen to what others say, hey im the same age and 90 pounds some people are built different so different weights are fine for them that wouldnt be fine for there friends. Dont sweat it.

  7. Well yea your thin, but you look healthy to me. You dont look weak, annerexoic, or scronny, you look like a good young teen girl. I wouldnt say you need to gain weight but if you wanted to gain some more muscle, that would be nice. I think your fine, and very pretty

Your skinny, from the first picture I would have said that you were too skinny but I saw the second picture too and I would say that you don't look unhealthy but for your height you should weigh 130 lbs ( your supposed to add 5 lbs for every inch after 5'0) you are skinny but not toooo skinny

  14. Everyone's body is different. as long as you are eating and exercising when you should, you are fine. Your just naturally skinny. good for you. don't try to gain weight.

  16. I think you are fine. Your not to skinny. You just have a high matabalism. (idk how to spell it) I get that alot to. its not fuun, cuz i always have people asking me if im anerexic. buut im not. Buuut no i think your not to skinny, and you should stay the way you are.

  17. I think you are fine.  You don't look too skinny to me.  Some people will say that just because they are jealous of your body.

    You are young and that is normal.  I was 125 and 5'8" and everyone told me I was too skinny and I was eating all the time.  It has caught up with me now as I have aged.

  18. No you're fine! You don't seem too skinny at all. The next time you go to the doctor you can ask them what percintile your weight is in. That might help you get a feel of where you are. You could also calculate your BMI (body mass index) on the internet.

    People say you're too skinny cause they are most likely jealous

    I get told i'm anorexic and it pisses me off..yeah its annoying but i eat a lot.

    I think you should stay the way you are if you're comfortable with it..

    If you arent comfortable with it and you think it the way people think about you is more important than the way you think of yourself then you can change and get fat. :D

    but this is the way you were born and you probably have a high metabolism like me, too..but so many people would kill to be like you, believe me.

  21. You look perfect to me. Don't gain weight because, it wouldn't suit your frame. Your frame carries your weight in all the right places atm, so i bet if you started eating more it'll just go to your belly or something, and you don't want that.

    Just eat 3 healthy meals a day, along with some snacks and things, and you'll be fine! Don't forget to exercise too, walk instead of drive or take a bus, and perhaps play a game of tennis with your friends every now and again. Just don't get into the habit of being lazy because believe me when your metabolism slows down, all the weight will pile on....NOT GOOD D=

    Just embrace your skinny frame, some people are lucky to be skinny and actually have it SUIT them, unlike me :(

  25. Listen you are fine and you should not be asking this question. What you think of yourself should be the only thing that matters. You are pretty and still are young.

    Example: When I was your age and younger I got called wite out and chicken legs cause I was skinny. That made me self conscious. I didn't wear shorts like you and was scared to show my body. Now I am 28 and have a child. I think I was stupid for not showing my shape, no stomach n skinny. I would kill for my old body. As you get older, your body changes and some of us gain weight.

    So what  I am saying is forget these people. They are being mean, or are fat themselves. Misery loves company.

  27. You are really skinny, but you didn't look dangerously skinny to me. Just make sure that you are eating for every meal and aren't skipping any of them. [and also don't eat super small meals] if you are doing everything normal then there shouldn't be a problem. If you are worried about it though, see a doctor and find out if you are like, i think malnutrioned or something. I dont know the word, lol.

  28. what ever you do don't change you look great. ignore those other people telling you your too skinny. they are just jealous. you don't need to gain any unless you want to. that is up to you. don't feel pressured to stay a certain weight

    all body types (natural) are beautiful weather your extremely curvy or extremely skinny or somewhere inbetween.

    and you are not TOOOOOO skinny

    my sister is like 5'5", 19 and weighs under 100 but she runs like 24/7 lifts (for xc) so its not like shes unhealthy its just her body type.

    stay the way you are !!! and to people that critizize your body either ignore it or be like listen this is my body deal with it!!!

  31. You are fine, honey. If you wanna do some weight training to get more toned and athletic looking go for it. But you are not too skinny. Mary-Kate only wishes she were too skinny. Someone wants you to get fat so they can feel better about themselves. As long as you eat, and exercise you are good. If you're happy that's all that counts.
