I've burned MGS on a CD and my slim PS2 won't play it. Can you help me?

I don't want to know about mod chips or any kind of c**p like that. I've got Swap Magic v3.6 (for PS2) for CDs & DVDs (maybe there's a trick to launch PS1 games, but I don't know it). I've heard about saving the game data from the original one on PS1 memory card to launch the game but, as I downloaded MGS, I obviously don't have the original CD... However, I have one PS1 memory card (if it helps to know)... Thanks for your answers,

Cosmo Kramer.

PS: I've tried the switching thingy (you know, put an original PS1 game and when the logo appears, switch with the burned CD) but after displaying some message about p****y, a black screen appears and it freezes...

PPS: Please don't post any comments saying "you gonna get busted dummy". I just want some technical advices, okay?

  1. Have you ever done a ps1 game with swap magic I am not sure it is compatible with ps1 games I could be wrong though.

  2. It's more difficult than you think ! Burning a game is only half the solution !

  3. Do you mean MGS1? Because if not, then I'm pretty sure it has to be DVD.

  4. yes the reason for this is cause burned games on a ps2 slim are not compatible with it ever so you burn the game for nothing  :)ava06
