I've connected my laptop to the TV, but it's showing up in black and white???? ?

Is there any way to get it in color?????

  1. Right click on the desktop of the computer, select properties and go into the video card properties where you set it to send the display to the TV outout socket.

    Check the "TV FORMAT" is set to your locality, if you are in USA, that's NTSC, if Europe it'll be PAL. If you get this wrong the colour signal is not recognised by many TVs.  Euro TVs can usually read an NTSC signal, but I believe that in the US it's less common for TVs to understand PAL for some reason.

    Also check the output settings on the PC and the input settings on TV are matched to cable type used, COMPOSITE if a single RCA lead (round yellow (normally) and single central pin) or S-Vid, usually black with 4 or 5 small pins inside a round shield


  2. Open DISPLAY SETTINGS ->

    click the 2nd Display from the Displays shown,

    Now you can set the color and other propoerties.

    You can also check the Advance Settings fro the display...
