  1. the Best companies are value companies these companies are bound to grow in the future and are safe investments companies like coca cola ticker:ko and Procter & Gamble Co ticker:PG Companies like American Express Co. Ask your stockbrocker before investing

  2. Sirius is at its altime low.  They just bought XM.  Freddie Mac is being backed by the US Gov.  How can they go wrong?  WM has enough capital to last 2 years and we should be through this by now.  Safer stocks would be Costco, Visa, Mastercard, JP Morgan etc.  Those companies aren't going anywhere.

  3. as you will be getting all these good companies, i would advice you equally use the doubling stock guide from the source below to safeguard your investment

  4. Enron, MCI, Indymac were good company! But they are gone....!!!

The advise that other people gave you to buy WM, FRE,FNM, etc... Ask them if they are so good company why the price in the last 3-4 month are down? Why people are selling them? Are they good company? if they really are, that mean there are a lot of bunch of stupid people there that are selling....

Forget about buy a stock in a company! For your own good, go read few books about investing and trading and see what the pro are doing! If you want to play the market and you don't know nothing about investing/trading go Las Vegas will more fun! You got a chance there in stock market show me a novice that is doing money!

Is true you could learn to invest and/or trade starting to buy a stock, but will cost money ... you will not know when to sell what to buy, when to take the loss... In investing/trading there are loss as in any business. If you don't know when to take the loss you will loose most of the money...

Is much more safe to buy an ETF on a sector and index, but you have to know we are still in a bear market.... when the bear market will end? (nobody knows...)

    Good Luck!

  5. Do your research for any company you are interested in.  Annual SEC filings (10K and 20F) are the best source of information.  Summaries of these documents can be found here:
