I've got 2 D's and every thing else is lower, so unfortunately I haven't passed any of my GCSE's. I'm unsure on what I can do or if there are any things I can do to make life easier. I would like a job but I'm not sure if there are any jobs or companies etc that would take me on.

  1. You can either get a labour/shopkeeping job etc or study hard and re-take your exams. I'd choose the latter.

  2. Unless you got a U then you passed all of them hun. A D grade is a pass.

I didn't do too fruity myself when i was at school so i need a GNVQ that gave me 5 A-C GCSE equivalents and then i did a National Diploma which gave me 4 A-Levels.

You will find something i'm sure, good luck x

  3. Retakes. I did the same 8 years ago, and I regret not taking straight away but I am starting in 2 weeks time. Good luck

  4. First of all, I'm really sorry to hear that :(

If you want a job I suggest putting in your application at quite a few places, so if you don't get accepted at one there is always a chance you will be accepted by another. I know a friend who's brother didn't even sit any of his GCSE's, and managed to get a full time job.

Try a website called Connexions - they can offer advise over e-mail, AOL messenger or text (I've put a link in the sources).

Just keep trying and keep up a positive attitude and I'm sure you will get to where you want! (:

  5. i've just taken IGCSEs and i got an A*, an A, 2 Bs and a C, which mean i did pass, but i failed maths, so i've just gotta do a re-sit,  if you wanna go to higher eduacation you'll have to do so too, i guess

  6. hiya:) dont worry as i didnt even get an A lol, i got 4 Bs and 5C's but failed maths:| so i gues ur jus guna hav 2 retake maths and as for your case, englishxxx

  7. I got 2 C's, 7 D's and 2 E's and i didnt qualify to do A-levels, so i had to doa  1 year GNVQ course in business, no exams, just 6 pieces of coursework which where very easy as the teachers help you do it in college, it was very easy, i passed with a merit and that gave me equillevent to 4 GCSE's so the year after i went on to do 2 A-levels in one year (full time course).

So dont worry, apply for a BTEC Business course and complete it and then do A-levels, also, if you didnt get a C in maths or English, then you can do a ALAN course in Enlgish, which is done over the computer (much easier than the real exam) and is equillent to a normal exam, but for maths you'll have to retake the paper, love maths hehe :) good luck.
