  1. HD ready 1080p

  2. I HIGHLY reccomend you check out The new Samsung LN40A650 (1080p, 120hz, 4ms response time, 50,000:1 contrast ratio!, DEFINITELY the best bang for your buck, plus it looks awesome!

Also check out the Sony XBR4 and the new KDL-40Z4100 (comes out in may)

    read about the samsung a650:

    http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-LN40A650-4...

also check out the 2008 Sony Bravia lineup: http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/stor...

Some of the best LCDs on the market

  3. I would have to say the Sony Bravia and make sure it is 1080i and hd ready also if your going to spend that kind of money....Your looking at most likely a 46" - 52" for $2000.

  4. Take a look at  a Samsung or a Sony  720p & 1080p Plasma or LCD  I'd prefer an LCD But for $2000 Samsung has a 50" 720p plasma that will run you just about under $2000 with protection plan for 5years,  A Samsung 50"1080p Will run you way over your $2000 budget, but i gotta say a 1080p personally in my opinion is not much of a big difference in picture quality when you compare it to a 720p, So i believe a 720p TV will do the Job! Butttt if  you want a more clearer picture an LCD will do the Job alot better, but the downfall will be a smaller TV size if you plan on staying within your $2000 budget , LCD's are more expensive than Plasma's & Projection TV's because their picture quality is much more better.  I know its not easy shopping for a T.V especially when you got a giant wall full of T.V's and after a while of staring at them they all tend too have the same picture resolution.

    P.S

Take your time!! and Good Luck!!

I currently own a 50" Samsung Plasma and i gotta say its a great T.V Price paid with 5year protection plan $2100 Plus two $100 NFL Gift cards were included in my package  But my next T.V will be a LCD !
