I've got a Marathon in 68 days, what should I be doing?

I've got a Marathon in 68 days, Ive done little to no training in the last 2 months, I need a good training schedule that going to help me get it done. 2 months ago I was going 6 mile comfortably.

I have to do this one.

  1. first 30 days 10 miles every other day

    next 30 days 15 miles every other day

    last 6 run 20 miles every 2 days

You have two months to get into marathon shape.  You're not going to be competitive.  Just try to finish.  Work on long slow distance, find out how far you can go now and work up from there.  Pace yourself, run two days, shorter distance the first day long distance the second rest the third. Do cycling one day a week to improve your endurance without wear and tear on your knees and ankles.  Stay hydrated.  Only short easy runs the week before the race.

  3. You should be running eveyday, twice a day. And, don't forget to stretch! Do a run like 2 hours after breakfast and a run right before dinner. You don't want to injure yourself at a marathon, So don't quit!!

  4. I play football 1 hour everyday. Cycling as an alternative can strengthen your legs and joints since it lower the impacts. Remember the knees are really important for runners, do not overuse it before you start the game.
