If there is 7 days in a week and 4 weeks in a month..7 X 4=28

how comes we get over 28 days in each month and there's only february which has 28 days.. I know how we get a leap year because there's a extra 6 hours but how comes the maths don't add up with the facts if thats understandable x

  1. Because we do is all.

  2. People say that there are 4 weeks in a month. But there are months that have 5. And the months does not have equal days...

  3. Because the month is not defined by splitting the year up, nor by multiplying the week, but by the orbital period of the moon, which is not quite regular.

  4. There is actually 4.3 weeks in a month if you divide the number of weeks in a year (52) by the number of months (12)  and 30.4 days in a month if you divide the actual number of days in a year (365) by the number of months (12).

  5. The 4 weeks in a 'month' is from the lunar calendar.

The gregorian calendar is as we know it with twelve unequal months.

youd sound like an oddball if you went around saying theres 4.4128546383946589438943 weeks in a month

  8. There are 365.25 days in a year. Please explain how it would be possible to divide that equally into weeks of 7 days and months of 4 weeks. When you give up, then you will have your answer.

  9. I'm still waiting for the interesting question...........

  10. cool

  11. There are not 4 weeks in a month. It's something like 4.4 weeks. The 4 weeks thing is just an estimation.
