The other 8 months a year are at regular pay. I was wondering how I should adjust my withholdings for taxes so I don't owe. Claim more or less? I'm not sure.

  1. it would be worth consulting with a least a Certified Public Accountant, and they can do your taxes as well.

It depends on what you claim during the 8 months. You can always request an additional withholding during the 4 months. But believe it or not, the IRS does not like to be used as a savings fund. They really do want a reasonable projection.
