The curbside pickup option is off the table in my case.

  1. They should have a dump somewhere in your area. Look in the phone book for your local dump and recycling center.

  2. ring your local council, they will remove it for a small fee

  3. Wait until dark and then drive to an apartment complex and dump it near the dumpster there.  I see people all the time dumping stuff that don't live at our complex.

  4. Goodwill Industries or another welfare agency/organization depending on where you are located. If truly just genuine trash there is possibly a landfill somewhere near you where the local government unloads garbage trucks. Also, check your local classifieds and find a trash hauler or list it on Craigslist.com and describe it and someone may deem it a treasure.

  5. I just had to move my 3000+ sq foot home (after the family left) and went through this days ago. It depends on what is is and how much of. If it is a mix of trash and good stuff you might be hard pressed because it has to be sorted. I made numerous goodwill runs and they took a lot of stuff that I didnt think they would take (plastic bins, shoes, clothes, old childrens batttery operated cars, etc.).

I also utilized the apartment dumpster thing but I had too much to get rid of it on time for me.

I had such a big pile of stuff that I finally called the local junk removal guys that just have a truck or trailer (depending on the size again) and they come by and take it all away for you. I had a lot a hoge pile, and had to pay $110. If you still have time in your place (not the 30th of the month and not having to move out that day) just do it a piece at at time unless you can afford it.

Like I said I just went through this with a 6 hour time constraint. If you have time and I can help you can mail me and I will try because I know how it feels.
