  1. Assuming you used a credit card you can tell the card company that you refuse to pay those charges.  Then you can contact the hotel company to start claim for the room charges.  Doubt you'll get anywhere but you can try.


  2. Hard to give an answer when there are no details. You could add to your question and let us know why you have a problem with the room.

  3. You'd only get your money back if it was a serious problem. But you didn't state what it is. We need more details.

  4. Probably not a "right". More like a good business move by the hotel chain assuming the "problem" was something serious.

Usually to get your money back from a hotel chain you need to wait a day or two and then contact the "accounting or billing" department.  Especially if you paid with a credit card you can contact the credit card and dispute the charge.  If the hotel is a little independent then speak to a manager or the owner right away.  You have no "right" unless you have some sort of proof of guarantee, like an ad that says the same.  You could threaten to go to "Better Business Bureau" of the town, but that might not help either.  Hotel rooms are not guaranteed or regulated.
