I've got conjunctivitus... can i wear ANY makeup.. not even foundation powder?

im going out and i look like a idiot going out with no make up whats so ever...

cant i wear mascara or eyeliner or eyeshadowww or even foundation powder for the face??

when i had an eye infection like you i wore nothing. you can contimate any makeup that you touch from your eye to fingers.   just keep putting the drops in and it'll clear up.  don't put any mascara or eye liner on your eye(s) infact leave them alone.

so you have pink eye? - you poor thing, i hope everything goes well.

yes, you can wear makeup, i would only recommend eyeshadow, and foundation/bronzer/powder/blush. - make sure the eyeshadow;

doesn`t get into your eyes, or else, ....... your eyes will fall out !

It's not advisable, but if you must make sure you only use foundation from a tube etc. - basically, you'll have to throw out the sponge so use anything where it won't come into contact with the actual foundation. Also, throw out your mascara etc. because conjuctivitis is active before symptoms show, so if you were using it into the days leading up to your outbreak it will have the bacteria on it.

Conjunctivitis is highly contagious so make sure you bin your face cloth etc. Towels can be washed on 60degrees C and this will kill it. Remember to do this to pillow cases, duvet covers etc.

If you wear contact lenses, throw those out too and ask the opticians for a new storage pot (unless of course you wear daily disposables)

Wear nothing but lipstick or gloss... on no account use any eye makeup, especially mascara and eyeshadow.You must be so careful or it will keep reoccurring ... do get rid of any eye makeup you have been using, as it will be contaminated. I know it's hard to do this, but it is not worth the risk. The more you follow the hygiene and advice, the quicker the conjunctivitis will heal.

How about fake eyelashes?

It'll look like you have eyeliner at the top of your eye and mascara.

You CAN wear make up but it probably won't do your eye any good. Wear make up and have a gunky eye for longer or don't wear it and get back to wearing your make up quicker...

Well it depends how ugly you are... if you are scaring yourself when you turn the bathroom light on, you should just bite the bullet and wear the make up anyway.

Nooooo, please dont even try it!

your eyes will be so so bad if you put anything on them, trust me ive had the worse case of conjunctivitus you can get!!

you could probs get away with a bit of foundation but try to keep it away from your eyes because it will sting like h**l.

Btw, throw away your makeup, or you'll get it again, because it will contaminate it and you'll just keep getting it.
