  1. Yak Ride is correct to a degree. The Japanese will recognise dual citizenship for minors (the legal age of majority is 22 there). After that you are forced to choose or else you will lose your Japanese citizenship. There are people who will keep their dual citizenship with Japan but under the table (which is illegal).

  2. are you a man? by your avatar, i am to understand that indeed you are a man;and by your first name.........

    first of all? you need ,if you are an adult? to resolve the nationality problem;

    Italy does not allow marriage between men;

    the isssue is in debate.....

    in another one of your question? you asked how many times you could enter the US on the visa waiver?

    are you or not? an US citizen?

  3. Inquire at the nearest Italian Consulate, because in order to get married in Italy you will need to bring a legalized copy of your birth certificate and another certificate stating that you are single and able to marry, both of them translated into Italian and with an "Apostille" attached to them.

    Besides that, same-s*x marriages are not legal either in Italy or in Japan...

  4. this  is really too dfficult.

  5. Sorry, you do not have dual US-Japan citizenship.  Japan is one of the countries that does not recognize dual citizenship.  Where Japan is concerned, you are either Japanese or you are not.  If you've been naturalized as a US citizen then you lost your Japanese citizenship at that time.  If you obtained Japanese citizenship (extremely difficult) then you renounced your US citizenship at that time.

  6. If you're a male with dual citizenship, the Japanese authorities will be knocking at your door for you to pick a side. Actually, you'll receive a letter and I don't know how much they bother to enforce it. However, realize that one day they might not renew your passport anymore because Japan does not recognize dual citizenship. America is similar but not so harsh--they don't enforce single citizenships but they don't encourage dual citizenships. If your legal name in Japan and America are different, then your marriage certificate may be somewhat of an issue when you present it to American authorities to show you got married.
