  1. You would be better off using Mapedit version 2.1, but when you saved the map, doesn't it give you the option to save all as an HTML file?  Normally when making a map image, the code is written for you where you want your active links.

  2. (I pressume you're wanting a client side clickable imagemap, and not just a image of a map)

    You should be able to get a image-map creation program to output HTML code, which you can open in notepad.

    If want to do the coding by hand (tedious but do-able for simple image maps)  then the following may help. It also gives you a feel of what the code for client side image-maps looks like.
