I've got some Ideas for a magnetic generator. Small, household. How would I go about converting the energy....

  1. voltage regulator (capacitor to keep a steady current) and possibly a rectifier.


  2. you want to develop at least 12 volts and if ac then use a transformer to step up to 120 volts ac or if your unit is 12 volts dc then purchase 12 volt to 120 volts ac convertor but note depending on wattage output you will be limited to amperage max for your electrical appliances.

    you should have a voltage regulator built into your system.

  3. Depends on how many volt and amp your getting . You can store it in battery's and if your getting high volt and amp out of it use it like it is providing your not going over 120 then you would need a transformer . But it all depends on volt and amp for what your needs would be to run household current

  4. I assume you mean that you produce a magnetic field.. how you convert that into energy.. probably electrical energy.. depends upon the parameters of that magnetic field.

    Typical electrical generators actually use magnetic fields that are rotating, alternating, and sometimes stationary (a rotor turns inside a stationary field),... to produce electricity...

    You need to explain your idea a bit more fore any additional feedback..
