Question:

I've got some pepper plants...bell, japeleno, and similiar variety...?

they are about 2 feet tall and been planted for 3 months....when will they produce a pepper? How will I know one when it starts??

  1. First of all it has to flower before it can produce peppers.  That big and that long in the garden, you should be seeing some buds by now.  I have 3 varieties of bells, some jalapenos, and some habaneros, and they all currently have blooms.

    No blooms could be a problem of nutrient deficiency.  Try a fertilizer that is higher in phosphorus (which encourages strong roots, and blooms)
