  1. Take a cereal box.  Remove the top flaps.

Take a knife/sizzors and cut out 2 long ovals or rectangles that your hand will fit into for handles.

Tear up old used recycle paper, mail that you would throw away (or new cute scrapbook paper) and  modge podge the back of each piece...stick it to the box overlapping each piece.  Then when your complete modge podge over all the paper to seal the edges.  Let dry.  After it's dry you can put on a coat of glitter, or you can add flake glitter to the glue (modge podge) before you do your final coat.

Tada, you have a instant bag.  Cute.  Our Girl Scouts did this for a valentines box/bag.

  2. If you have some used candles, you can always make new candles with the left overs.  Candles are a good gift, or souvie.  You will need to get some wick from the craft shop, maybe some bees wax, you can get it coloured if all you have are white candles.  Make a mold out of heavy cardboard, liquid tight obviously, tie one und of the wick to a pencil and a small weight on the bottom end, keep it straight, put your wax in a pot, put that pot in a bigger pot with water, heat on stove until liquid, pour into mold, let set, remove mold, touch up rough corners, TaDa.

  3. Earrings from the ring pulls on cans

  4. Save up your belly-button fluff, glue on a pair of goggly eyes, and sell them as toys.

  5. Use round plastic bottle. Wrap team colour for shirt. colour in the eyes and mouth put paper cap on

  6. gum wrapper chain purse

  7. Cut out little badges from old coke cans etc and hot glue or tape a safety pin to the back. I just tried it but you do need good scissors.
