I've applied fertilisers(NPK + bone meal) and also those available on supermarket shelves to encourage fruit trees to fruit but to no avail.Somebody suggest chopping the trunk several times and even hammering a big nail through the trunk may induce fruiting.I guess these are old wives' tail and may hurt this mango trees. The fruits I bought while on a trip to Thailand and was impressed with its fruits which are about the size of a papaya

  1. Just wait. Or better yet keep on planting trees. You'll help the environment and you'll have trees for you and the next generation in a few years. Seed trees grow bigger and stronger and better than trees propagated by grafting, marcotting (not sure of spelling) and cuttings.

  2. Because you have a male plant.

  3. go to to grocery store and buy mangos and tie them to the tree.
