I've had a cabin on a piece 2nd party private land in the mts. for 50 ys. My rights if they sell? ?

This was a hand shake deal back in the 50's, now the next generation is making rumblings of selling the land. We occupy roughly a half acre.

interesting situation and i wish i could offer more than "consult an attorney", but thats the best i can do--your cabin must be worth a bunch of money so protecting your investment is important. Is the "handshake" person still alive? I would maybe ask the "new" generations about this--in writing--but eventually you will probably need that attorney. Good luck.
