I've been on ibuprofen around the clock (I know, not very healthy or the smartest idea) yet it comes back every few hours. I have allergies, but I don't think it's a sinus headache, because I have no other symptoms (no itchy throat, watery eyes, runny nose sneezing, or pressure near sinuses). The pain is toward the back of my head radiating inward. A little pain in front and near temples. I've also been super sleepy lately, even hours after I've woken up. Tea hasn't helped. I drink it constantly at home. It hasn't been real hot out, so I don't think its heat stroke or anything (plus I work in AC all day). I've been working a lot lately, but my jobs aren't too stressful (summer jobs for a college student). How can I get rid of this? When will it become serious enough that I should see a doctor? Any at-home remedies would be super awesome.

  1. Rule out the simple stuff,  take a bath or a long shower to see if it is tense muscles from working to hard.  Take a pain reliever with a sinus decongestant.  If none of that works,  see a doctor.

Especially if you cannot touch you chin to your chest.  Spinal Meningitis can presents as a headache

  2. Your headache sounds like it could be from your  eyes, have you been working on the computer? or any close work? a headache is always a sympton of something wrong with another part of the bod like high blood preassure, sugar or just a cold. but in the meantime try Motrin it might work.y,
