  1. i waited 3 months after i miscarried and got pregnant again almost immediately

  2. personally i would wait at least one month after your miscarriage.  i think it would just give your body some time to heal as well as have your cycle once before getting pregnant just to make sure everything is okay.

  3. i've just had one too and decided to wait for another cycle wait for my body to get back to normal.

  4. hi,sorry to hear your news,it is a horrible time.i have had two miscarriages and my hospital advised me to wait one complete monthly cycle before trying again.it allows the lining in the uterus to build back up to normal so that if you do fall pregnant straight away you are more likely to have a successful one.

  5. yes to strengthen your chances of having a sucessful pregnancy you should wait at least 2 cycles to allow your body restore itself and prepare for another pregnancy. take prenatal vitamins and eat well in preparation. another pregnancy too soon will strain your body and it may reject another pregnancy. good luck!

  6. Hi most say waiting min 3 months, but my wife miscarried last march and we got striaght back into it,it has taken us every month till now 13 months of checking and charting.. in may we got lucky now were just hoping day at a time that things go right. So you can wait and you might be lucky at once but like us we were not.Go for it ehjoy each other..................Best of Luck

  7. hi, i had my miscarriage 2 wks ago. advice varies from person to person. last friday, i was told up the hospital that we could start trying immediately, that recent studies had proven that you were not a higher risk of a further miscarriage if you got pregnant straight away as they previously had  thought, i was told that the only advantage of waiting for a normal period is for dating purposes. but yesterday when i wnet back for further hcg tests, i saw a different woman who told me to wait for 3 mths. just to put a spanner in the works, i stopped bleeding last week and am already trying for another one already. i hope this helps you.

  8. Im thinking it's wait till 3 months to start trying again. I'm not positively sure though. Good luck hun!

  9. After a miscarrage, its advicable you wait for your first normal period  before you start trying for another baby.

  10. I miscarried in March and started trying again after having my next period, that way I knew my body was back to doing it's thing.  But to be honest, I think that my body was finally back to "normal" just last month and things are looking even better for possible conception this month....we'll see!!  Try again when YOU are ready, but I wouldn't start until you've had one cycle.   Sorry for your loss and baby dust!

  11. If your GP says it's fine then it's fine.

I don't understand why you would trust people on here more than your own doctor ?

  12. I recently had a miscarriage and a D&C and I asked the doctor who did the operation if I could start trying again straight away and she said it was fine. Another doctor also told me that your body won't let you get pregnant again until it is ready, so there is no harm in trying.

The Miscarriage Association state that there is no increased chance of miscarriage if you get pregnant again straight away.

The fact that you already have a child means that it is very likely the miscarriage was just the result of a random error and there is no reason to think that it will happen again.

The most important thing is that you do what is right for YOU. It's your body and your emotions, and only you know whether you are ready or not.

The main reason doctors say to wait a month is to make dating of the next pregnancy easier, but a scan can easily date your pregnancy.

I haven't had a period since my miscarriage, but me and my husband are trying again. Like you, I desperately want another baby and I don't want to wait.

I hope you get pregnant again soon.

  13. I had a miscarriage on June 7th. My ob told me that I could try whenever I felt I was ready. But I decided to wait until I had 1 period.

I just had my period & now I'm on CD 17 & ready to get pregnant again!

Good luck to you hun. It your GP says that its ok to get pregnant this soon then do what your heart tells you!!

    I'm sorry about your loss!

  14. I miscarried in January at 11 weeks, and my boyfriend and I didn't try again as such, but just decided we would carry on as normal and see what happened.

I am now 19 weeks pregnant, and feel it was right for us to try again almost straight after.

If you want to try again straight away, do so.  From what I have read and been told by my GP and midwife you are no more likely to miscarry again.  If anything you are actually less likely, unless there is some underlying medical condition.

Just make sure you are right with it.

    Good luck to you. x

  15. My daughter-in-law miscarried in March and was pregnant again by June.  She is due to give birth in December, so it appears that what your doctor says is o.k.

  16. you can start trying straight away, doctors only tell you to wait so that they can tell the date of your period accurately. i miscarried and started trying straight away, and fell pregnant 3 months later. but unfortunately miscarried the second time as well. use ovulation sticks to help you predict dates as well
