I've had conjunctivitis for the past 14 days. Dont know what kind it is, what can i do?

Patanol for allergy's did not work, and i ve been on antobiotics for the past 2 days. im going to europe in about 5 days, will it end by then??? Doctors dont know what to diagnose it as, i ve went throught quite a few medications in the past 14 days. And can anti biotics harm the eye/ make it worse if its not viral conjunctivitis

sounds like its a virus infection instead of bacterial...doctors prescribe antihodtics anyways caues they figure its a bacterial infection, and it will clear up. i would say you have a viral infection and there is nothing you can do for it...it just has to run its course!!! sorry about that!!! i do wish you luck!
