i have noticed the last few times i have worn earrings when i take them out my left ear lobe hurts. Today it felt like there was a little lump like where the hole is. was a little bit of liquid that came out aswell. Should i just clean it and not wear those earrings again? The recent earrings i have been wearing were cheap. Could this be a reason? What should i do?

  1. the earings are the prob.. clean the ear no dont were them again

  2. that could be a number of things, like depending how you got them pierced (with a needle or gun) because guns sometimes cause skin to bunch up in the piercing, which can cause a bump or sometimes a keloid, normally these 2 things are noticed pretty soon after but can take a few years to develop. but it could also be you have a pimple in your piercing  which makes the most sense since you said liquid came out so just make sure everything is clean and use a different pair of earrings, or it could have gotten infected by not being fully clean or just a bad pair of jewelry. either way clean it with your piercing cleaner, do a salt rince, buy a new set and if it doesnt go away go to your doctor or local piercer and they will know for sure

  3. It could be that your reacting to the metal of the earring. Try to wear earrings that are nickle free. Cheap earrings are usually the culprit! Just leave earring out for awhile, bathe with salt water and put a little Savlon on if needed.

  4. i have had the same problem.when i got my ears pierced they felt fine until i took them out.the big lump is a puss pocket.the liquid that comes out is the puss.you may be allergic to that type of metal so don't ever wear them again.clean your ears thoroughly and try to find a different type of earrings.oh and another thing....it's just a matter of an opinion but don't ever buy anything from claire's. their stuff is more than likely to break and they sell cheap stuff.

                                                                       hope i helped! :)

  5. Cheap earrings always do it! You might be allergic to the metal used. You should only use gold, sterling, or pure silver if you find that earrings from Claire's or The Icing make you hurt. I switched to sterling and haven't had a problem since.

But yes, clean your ear with some peroxide and don't put any earrings in until it doesn't hurt anymore.
