I haven't been eating many sweets. I'm also always thirsty, cause the taste makes me feel as if my mouth is dry.

The taste is like as if, say, you had a sweet drink and all the sugar was at the bottom of the cup, and you drank a little of it.

  1. It could be any number of things like diabetes, or the 'salty forehead' disease (can't remember the name off the top of my head.)

Just go to a doctor, because Dr. Yahoo will not cut it.

  2. Are you running? Exercising a lot, When you exercise you burn the sugar out of your blood, and can sometimes taste it. Still I think it would be a good idea, to see a Doctor. Many diseases start with strange tastes in the mouth. You say your dad tastes the same thing, it's a sign that something is not right with your environment. The being thirsty is a sign of diabetes, but it would be strange if both you and your dad are diabetic and are only just now finding out about it. Call your Doctor and make an appointment, meanwhile look around the house, are you using a new product, eating anything different, had your rugs cleaned lately, had exterminators over, painted any rooms. Have you had the plumbers over to unstop a tub, that stuff they use in the drains will kill you.
