ok so i've been on the birth control pill for 9 months now, i just started the pack for my 10th month a few days ago. i would usually start my period on either monday or tuesday of the reminder week of my pills and it was always a pretty heavy flow. last week i was supposed to be on my period and i didn't "start" until thursday, and even then it was just a few very little spots. then instead of increasing throughout the next few days it just completely went away. this has never happened to me before since i've been on the pill and i'm a little bit scared because i had s*x with my boyfriend about a month ago. the night we had s*x was the last day (a saturday) of my reminder pills week, and we didn't use a condom. so i need to know what the chances are of becoming pregnant around that time of my period, and also if it may be possible that it's just my pills making me have this reaction for some reason??? anyone's opinion would just really help me out right now.

  1. you could be preggers or be going through the stages of early menopause since the pill did that to me ! or PCOS or endo... whenever u tounch birth control there is always a side effect -

  2. There are a lot of clinics that will offer a free test or you can pay about $20 to get a blood test which is mostly more accurate and can detect as early as 2 weeks in. (in my case, neither the blood test or the home test showed up positive til i was about 2 months in). Birth control, however does s***w up your hormone levels dramatically depending on the type of pill and your hormone levels to start. It could be a bad side effect that isn't entirely uncommon with the pill or any other type of bc that is hormone based for that matter. I'd suggest getting a blood test asap so that if you are pregnant, the pill will not cause a miscarriage, which could be extremely harmful to you.

My sister did get pregnant after being on nearly a year of the pill that she took religiously, so it isn't so small a possibility.

  3. u may be pregnant go to ur doctor
