  1. I have not complained! The Irish NO voter spoke up for me who was denied my democratic right to vote on the issue!Get Brown Out!!

  2. Well said mate.

  3. Good point.

Don't forget the Dutch and French also voted on essentially the same treaty in 2005 and also said No.

But that wasn't the answer the MEPs wanted. so they changed the name and ratified it in their parliaments bypssing a public vote.

  4. Many other people in ALL EU states had their hopes on us because although we were the only country that had the Honor of the government letting Ireland's fate in our hands, there are many other Europeans that are against this treaty and they couldn't vote.

The Irish NO was not just NO to Brussels deciding our fate leaving the big countries with super power of decision, but it is a NO from all Europeans that were against it but could not vote for it. Or will you tell me that all French, Germans, English, Polish, etc, all, 100% of them wanted the Lisbon treaty to pass? You would be very surprise if you ask around, spetially the Dutch and the French who Voted NO to the constitution, now undercover under The Lisbon Treaty

  5. It just shows how crooked the EU is never mind the vote we will do what we want sod the people   the Irish  the French  The Dutch and the Norwegians have voted against it   Gordon Brown is so scared that we will vote against it he will not have a referendum,  he is running scared he knows the majority of the country want out from the Eu and he is crapping himself.

  6. Maybe .5 Billion should have a say on what happens to .5 billion people?

Just a wild idea but I thought that was what democracy was about

  7. I would say that if all EU countries put the vote to their people, not many countries would have a yes vote (if any). Better than 3 million than 9,000.

  8. I say three million is better than none, and the people complaining should say it to the governments who didn't allowed them to vote.

  9. A very well stated and valid point.

  10. Those are the rules and now that it didn't go their way........boohoo!
