I've heard s*x is extremely messy. Do men release a massive amount of s***n or something?

I'm not experience in the s*x dept. (ahem...virgin). I'm getting married very soon & I've been hearing that s*x is messy & you have to immediately clean up afterwards. One friend even told me that after s*x one morning she went to work & leaked so much fluid that she had to change her pants!!! How is this possible, I thought men only released about a tbsp of sperm..I've just been thinking about how much of a mood killer "messiness" must be. I've always imagined me & my honey just laying there afterwards & falling asleep in each others arms...someone please clarify this "mess".

Yes, it's a bit messy, but not terrible.

You may wish to put a towel under you to catch any fluid that runs out during the act, and going to the bathroom right afterward is a good idea, too (peeing after s*x reduces the chance that a woman will get a bladder infection, and while you're sitting on the toilet, most of the s***n mixed with your fluids will drain out of you).

When you do get dressed the next morning, I'd advise a panty-liner, but that should be enough to catch any residual discharge.

Don't worry about the mess too much, though.  It's just a part of life, and shouldn't be a mood killer (every other couple in the world goes through the same thing...)  You and your husband are going to see a lot of each other, good and bad, in the coming years.  Just relax and enjoy the life adventure together!

Congratulations on getting married.  s*x can be a little messy but you don't have to jump right up to get clean (I usually couldn't for several minutes even if I wanted to).  I definitely want a shower at some point afterwards - either shortly after or in the morning if we do fall asleep.  Some women (me included) do squirt a little or lot at o****m - it makes it more enjoyable - if I have more than 6 or so orgasms then I would definitely want to shower before doing anything else, which is normally fixing him a snack after all the hard work.

Your friend is a liar. It is not that messy. Men do sometimes shoot off a lot of s***n when they havent had s*x in several days (or ever). But when you have s*x every day or a few days a week the guy will shoot off less and less.

The first time, yes it will probably be noticable. It isnt gross if you love the man. Just go to the bathroom afterwards and pee and wipe yourself. You may want to use flushable wipes or a warm wet washcloth afterwards.

Sometimes I take a quick shower to clean up if I am going out somewhere afterwards.

Dont stress about it. If you are concerned dont have s*x before you go to work or wear a pantiliner.

Its more messy then you'd think because the female releases fluids also to help lubricate when aroused, so it was probably mainly her fluids, not his.

It's not that messy... unless you want it to be of course. You should be able to cuddle afterwards with no problem... but keep a towel nearby just in case :D

Yes men only release a Tbsp of sperm at a time. Yet women on the other hand may release much more. So yes after you have s*x it is wise to clean up. You can get in the shower, douche, or just use a warm wash cloth and clean that area very well. The quicker you clean up the less chance there will be of a big mess afterwards.
