I've heard that Epson Salts helps plants grow faster.?

We have just bought many flats of Thymus Serpyllum Elkin (aka Thyme) and wanted to know if an epson salt mixture would help them to grow faster. If so, what would be the ratio to whatever the salt would be mixed with. Thanks.

  2. If  your soil has a magnesium deficiency, then epsom salts will help.  You would be better off using a normal plant fertilizer.

  3. Epsom salt is one of the best organic fertilizers you can get...It is full of magnesium and sulpher and as well..it makes the plants more capable of drawing the other nutrients into them that are naturally in the ground such as pottasium, phospherous and nitrogen..I spray my garden every 10 to 15 days with it.....
