  1. Well the cats would get rid of the snake's food source! My dog noticed a rattlesnake in the wild otherwise I wouldn't have known it was there, but once almost stepped on a gartersnake without seeing it. I think the snakes would hide anyway, not go away just because a dog is close.

  2. Snakes are not afraid of or repelled by any mammal, even snake eating animals like pigs.

Just remember that there is no reason for a snake to want to live in your house. Most snakes found in houses want out as badly as you want it out!

  3. Um, I'm sure if the cat pounces on the snake it will be afraid, but if there is a snake and the dogs or cat just happen to be walking around the snake could attack them.  I haven't ever heard of snakes being afraid of dogs or cats sorry.

  4. i'd be absolutely positive and investe in a dingo or a jackal to deter snakes.

if the dingo or jackal becomes a problem, id buy a lion.

if the lion gets to be a problem, im screwed.

  5. If you want to get rid of the snakes spread moth balls all around the basement and the out side of the house that should keep them out
