  1. What ever is popular is "In Fashion" Pop culture is the driving force.

  2. refers to styles of dress (but can also include cuisine, literature, art, architecture, and general comportment) that are popular in a culture at any given time. Such styles may change quickly, and "fashion" in the more colloquial sense refers to the latest version of these styles. Inherent in the term is the idea that the mode will change more quickly than the culture as a whole.

The terms "fashionable" and "unfashionable" are employed to describe whether someone or something fits in with the current or even not so current, popular mode of expression. The term "fashion" is frequently used in a positive sense, as a synonym for glamour, beauty and style. In this sense, fashions are a sort of communal art, through which a culture examines its notions of beauty and goodness. The term "fashion" is also sometimes used in a negative sense, as a synonym for fads and trends, and materialism. A number of cities are recognized as global fashion centers and are recognized for their fashion weeks, where designers exhibit their new clothing collections to audiences. These cities are New York City, Milan, Paris, and London. Other cities, mainly Los Angeles, Berlin, Tokyo, Rome, Miami, Hong Kong, São Paulo, Sydney, Barcelona, Madrid, Vienna, Moscow, New Delhi and Dubai also hold fashion weeks and are better recognized every year.

  3. 'A Slave of Fashion' was a romantic comedy of the 1920s but I have no clue where the term "Slave to Fashion" came from or who exactly coined such a silly phrase.

  4. yes, most women are slaves of fashion.

Fashion is temporary, fickle, based on whims and opinions. Fashion is whats generally accepted as popular or mainstream at a particular point in time.

  5. fashion is the measurement, style and decoration of threads to be put on the body.

nice clothes are what people love, especially women but now most of us are being enslaved to it until willing to spend excessive $ only for fashions, 'eat' fashion, 'drink' fashion, 'sleep' fashion that they think it's fashion that lgive them self value, not good psych or heart that much. fashion is not for them anymore, they are then for fashion.

who is ultimately behind its influence are  : men. most designers are men. just imagine yourself, even you would love to have the nicest flowers in your garden. or maybe nice decorations in your place. so thanks to the men for decorating us to color their world and makes us crazy.

the great fighter for this fashion belief are then, the women. in most incidents, we could assume that women are more likely easier to be influenced than men while men are easier to get united with the same s*x than women. therefore, the women are the one that helps allot to influence other women that many women are getting crazy of wearing nice threads out meanwhile thinking back about it...what's actually the point? you wear, and then you change it back. after a while, you gonna get bored of it and buy more that's actually out of your necessity.

that's where many of us ended up buying shoes that their amounts could fit a closet, clothes that takes a small room size of cupboard to stuff em all, and spend so many only to wash your face and feet (and  body are like 15x more).

"ladies, forget wisdom. it's all about beauty. hey come on, it's 21st century." this is also the reason why women tend to feel as "loser" at the end of the story that they think working outside is the only way to overcome this inferiority complex, because that's the physical scene we could see where people use brain while it takes allot of brain and intelligence that we even need it for housemaking. hey it's fashion, it's women's world!
