Question:

I've installed windows xp in "E" drive & then installed another windows in "C" & then delete windows in 'E"

drive manually but some files can't be deleted ,their directory is--> E:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash

& the included files are "FlashUtil9e.exe" & "Flash9e.ocx"

I've an updated antivirus & I tried to delete them in cmd but it doesn't work & I can rename them & change their extension ".ocx"

but I can't change their attributes which are "Read Only" even in cmd mode & I think this is the problem

Can anyone help..

  1. One of the solutions would be to boot with a CD & delete them because every time you boot into windows, these files would become "active" or in use & you would not be able to delete them. The second option is to use UnLocker Read more about it on Download.com. Go Here:

  2. Make sure d OS is not booting through E Drive.

    Try to delete "E:\" from Computer Management.

    My Computer>Right Click>Manage>Computer Management>Disk Management>select E drive>Right Click>Delete Partition... OR Format...
