I've invented a new sport, what to do?

I've kinda invented a new sport (it's actually a mix of a few ports, but i won't tell to much), but I don't know what to do next. Should i write a mail too someone and risk to lose my sport (if he tells it's his)

Btw, does any of you know if the name "Squareball" is occupied?

well you have to go patented the idea but good luck i hope you can do it and the name sqaure ball is not occupied yet
