I've just a ripped a DVD movie for the first time with DVD Decrypter and it's used up almost 7 gigs of my HDD?

I thought the average DVD disk was supposed to use 4 gigs. Does this sound right?

Please don't lecture me about p****y it doesn't bother me.

  1. Ripping DVD I usually use E.M. Free DVD copy. because it lets me rip dvd easily, and it allows me rip DVD to other popular video formats such h264, Xvid, MOV, VOB, Mpeg, Mpeg4, Mpeg TS, AVI, WMV, and so on.

    so I can watch dvd movies on portable player like iPod, iPhone etc. conveniently. it can divides dvd into different chapters, I can rip my I favorite ones. in addtion to, it can copy whole DVD to hard disc.

  2. I think your original DVD is beyond 4 GB.

    Get right settings:

    Settings -> ISO Read Mode -> File Splitting -> Auto.

    big ISO files can be split automatically.

  3. not if its "Duel lare" then it can be up2 8 gb in size, if you want a smaller size then you could just rip the movie VOB files only.!
