the phone came with a T mobile card = is there a way to get the phone to accept my 02 card? I don't really want to get a new number or change networks

  1. you need to contact the phone company you brought the phone from and get it unlocked (usually costs a fee). unless there is some illegal way you can find somewhere then i think thats your only option if you want to keep the same company

  2. For Nokia phones:-

    http://unlock.nokiafree.org/

This site does it for free, used it many times over the last few years.

Just be careful when you type in the codes as you only get 5 attempts to get it right, so if you get down to your last 2 chances take it to a local independant phone shop, most of them will unlock nokias and any other phone they can do(incase yours isn't a nokia) for between £5 and £10.

And the Nokia is a DCT4

  3. It needs unlocking (about £20-£25) from your network operator to accept all networks. probably not worth it for a 2600 as they don't cost much more than this. sorry.
