  1. Seal it with some mastic

  2. Something is not tight enough. It is difficult to judge that you are not overtightening plastic fittings.

  3. It may be coming from the joint with the body of the cistern. have you  fitted all the gaskets correctly and they are properly seated? Made sure it is tight (but not too tight that it becomes distorted).

  4. The dripping is caused by the plastic cistern distorting slightly as the mass of water drains away. Have a look at the fittings by the leak. Re-tighten the nuts when the cistern is empty and then check it again when full.

You must be careful not to over-tighten the nut on a plastic set-up.

Also, there is always the possibility that you have mis-placed a rubber washer, or it's distorted. I have even seen some where the large washer has been fitted to the wrong side of the cistern 'wall'.

  5. Are you sure it's leaking from the inlet pipe, because to me that sounds unlikely, as the inlet would leak all the time. Check again and I'm sure it will be from somewhere else.

  6. errrrr...thighten the nut !!
