I've just had otoplasty (ear surgery) and I feel a sticky like subtance behind my ear?

Its 5 days post op and I can feel something sticky behind both of my ears. Is this normal?

Its like i've got glue behind my ear which is stuck to my head and somebody is peeling the ear away from the head.. I only usually feel it when Im trying to go to sleep and it feels disgusting.

Im worried, help?

I had oto but don't recall that feeling. Call your doc. He may want to see you to make sure the sutures are properly closed. If it's dry, then it's prob just a weird feeling of the healing. If it's wet, then perhaps they need attention.  Call your doc... put your mind at ease.
