that due to the soaring cost of energy the light at the end of the tunnel has now been turned off.

How are you going to cope now?

  12. This is about the fourth time in my life that the light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off due to budget cuts. I'm dying now, so it really doesn't matter to me any more. But it sure has added to the misery over the years.  

  13. Yeah, especially when we can't afford even to whistle in the dark! Abandon all hope, I suppose.

  23. Good line. It's a question of readjustment. Big energy needs to be told you're not going to buy and shelve products like it has done last eighty years.
