I've just started doing AS level human biology and i'd like to know what it involves?

  1. I've also just started AS level Biology! but the first year in mine is human I think.  It depends on what examination board your sixth form uses to mark science work, as each different examination board does different schemes of work.

    At the moment i'm doing lifestyle, transport, genes and health, and we are just starting to learn about the heart and different circulatory systems. Good luck in your AS Levels! : )


  2. There will probably be more dissection than in early Biology classes, maybe it will touch a bit more on Microbiology and Biochemistry in preparation for later classes.  You may need a bit more math skills.  You'll be fine if you've taken prerequisites.
