Question:

I've just started jogging, why do my boxers rise, move around, and make me have to adjust them ?

This is kind of weird, because I bought a big pair of boxers because I didn't like my legs and private parts feeling trapped.

Then I realized that the big boxers didn't fit at the waist, causing me to make alot of adjustments.

Then I got a smaller pair, that fit at the waist, but then I have to pull them down, because they kind of rise when running.

They are comfortable with baggy shorts/pants ( only when walking ) ... but when running, they rise up ... not up my butt, just in a uncomfortable way.

Do I have to go back to tighty whities or something ?

I'm sure I'll find a problem with them too.

Hey joggers, what exactly do you wear ... that allows you to run to the point where your never adjusting/ fixing your shorts ?

Thanks !!

  1. buy some under armour compression shorts. They are great and you won't have to adjust them when you run.

  2. I used to have that problem. But then I started wearing my boxers lower on my hips while running and they stopped rising.

  3. buy running shorts that have built in underwear or wear compression shorts under your shorts

  4. alot of men wear running shorts with built in briefs...

and your boys do need support...boxers must be so uncomfortable when running, also, they may chafe and that would be really uncomfortable...

I go commando, all my shorts have liners...

  5. the same thing happens to me

  6. Running shorts or tech shorts under regular shorts. UnderArmour makes great tech or tight shorts for workouts. You need 'support' if you know what I mean.

  7. lol running shorts......anyways it happens all the time to me. The best advice i can give you is try to find out your actual size. They wont feel as uncomfortable and will help.

  8. as a runner, the best method is to buy running shorts(with the net) and just free ball it. its easy to run with and is very comfortable.
