Question:

I've knitted a scarf. I've casted on around 24 stitches and done reg. knitting to a length.how do i finish it?

is it a bind stitch or something? PLEASE GIVE ME DETAIL AND MAKE IT EASY- im just a begginner.

  1. To cast off it is more or less like knitting a row, if you knit the first two stitches and then take the first stitch over the second to leave one on the right hand needle. Then just keep knitting one stitch at a time passing the other stitch that was on the needle over the one you have just knitted until you have one stitch left. Then cut your thread and pass it through the loop to secure it.


  2. Here is a video that will help you.   Everything is difficult until you do it a few times and then you are on your way to being an expert. Have fun with it.

  3. This probably be of much help but i've tried looking it up on the internet and it's called binding off, but when i tried to understand the instructions i got confused so i kept knitting and now i have a very very long scarf.
